remember the band called journey? the band that is known for hit songs like "open arms" and, "faithfully" just to name a few.. well they have a new front man/ vocalist.

arnel pineda, of quezon city, philippines, made it big when he was discovered by the band's lead guitarist, Neal Schon, via youtube! click here to watch a short clip on how arnel was discovered. arnel was the former vocalist of the band called "the zoo", and have been performing in local bars before he was discovered.

i think this video was reason. i watched it several times after seeing it the first time..

another humble proud to be pinoy, kick @ss dreams do come true story for all of us. :D

hehe.. my tummy just feels funny these past few days.. either i'm not feeding it well or it's being overfed. haha!

anyway, had a shoot last january 20 at my good friend, Darwin's pad.. they have this abandoned house just beside their home and i noticed that we can do a shoot at it's parking lot.

one of my favorite shots..

thanks to my fellow photographer, Roget, for bringing his kick @ss equipment (light stands, triggers and, extra flashes).



3 light set up. one above the stairs pointing to the subject as the main light. another one directly below the stairs, in front of the subject as the fill light and, another one below the stairs (our righter side).

had a shoot last weekend and this is my favorite candid shot (original photo).



played with photoshop curves with this picture. thanks to Jerry for giving me some tips about curves.

curves can be found under the menu Image>Adjustment>Curves...

play with it. adjusting the right part will adjust the highlight tones, while the left part handles the shadow tones. you may opt to adjust the mid part too if you want to adjust the mid tones.

my curves somewhat looked like this and came up with the image below..






i also edited the orientation of the photo, adding watermarks plus, making the background white. hehe..
