dr. horrible is a short film produced for exclusively for internet distribituion.. this musical tragicomedy short film was produced by Joss Whedon, Zack Whedon (a television writer), Jed Whedon (a composer), and actress Maurissa Tancharoen. it is basically about an aspiring super villain, dr. horrible, his nemesis capt. hammer and their mutual love interest Penny.

Bing the latest search engine by Microsoft

good friend just informed me about this new search engine by Microsoft.

aside from the common search keyword input text box and links for search types (web, images, video, news, travel, maps, etc.), this new search engine features some photos on its main page with some interesting facts about the photo.

search results page is pretty much similar to that of other search engines when it comes to appearances, but with some cool new features when viewing images and video search results.

for images search results, it only displays the photos form search results, you'll only be able to see those images' properties (file name, dimensions, file size, source, etc.) when you hover your mouse pointer to specific photos.



another cool feature this search engine offers is its video results. users can now play or preview the video just by hovering their mouse pointer to the video clip you wished to view. don't have to go to the site in order to view your video. this lessen the risks of ending up at any malicious web sites.

heard Jay Sean's current hit down, featuring Lil Wayne? i like it after hearing it. so i googled its video.

and guess what? after watching the video. kinda felt, i don't know, weird maybe or something.

haha! reminded me the boy bands (meet F4) during the 90's.. i still like hearing the song but i don't think choreography go with the music. but anyway, here's the video for you to check out. (oops can't embed, better check it out in youtube yourself)

speaking of boy bands, backstreet boys are also back with their latest single straight through my heart.

kanye west MTV MVA 2009 outburst: he's the greatest @$5 of all time

this happened during the MTV MVA 2009. kanye west (didn't even bother to capitalize his initials), out of nowhere, grabbed the microphone from Taylor Swifts, in the middle of her speech after being awarded for best female video for 2009. then kanye started claiming that Beyonce has the best video ever.



really felt bad for Taylor Swift. couldn't imagine how she felt after. she was left speechless and she didn't know how she'd react. good thing Beyonce gave Swift her moment when she was awarded video of the year..

it's happening! the band i missed to see last year is coming back to perform live, on october 3, 2009, at the mall of asia concert ground. yipee!!!

this time, Boys Like Girls are performing, live, back to back with Katy Perry. just heard this news from the radio a few days ago. i only got the chance to confirm it through the internet just today.

horaay! my first post for the month of september...

ber month started already and Canon announced it's latest dslr entry. the Canon EOS 7D. this high end dslr is feature packed and has loads of improvement from its predecessor the, Canon EOS 50D.

i found the features really great. dpreview even noted that it's more of a big brother of 50D rather than 50D's replacement.

FHM's sexiest 2009

it's been a while since i've last posted on my blog.. again.. as usual..

almost no post last July. and August's almost over too!

anyway, here's my first post for August. this set was quite long overdue..

i was lucky and i got the chance to attend FHM Philippine's victory party last July 9, 2009. have been attending this event for 3 straight years now.. thanks to our good friend for the pass. never failed to give us the chance to become part of their victory party.

this year's setup was quite different. the stage looked different. we didn't actually know where to stay for the program. they had a very long runway. which extends from one end of the venue to another, set up right in the middle of the venue..

i would also say that this year, my shots were EPIC FAIL! failed to shoot a lot of celebrities.. missed to shoot at great angles.. last year, i was still able to take some pretty descent pics even if i'm shooting without looking at the view finder.

and my tamron lens is kinda giving up on me.. err99 happens on my cam even when shooting at around 50mm.. grrrr. need to throw some cash on a better lens.. again, i'm very open with sponsors with good heart. haha!

anyway, enough excuses..

here are some shots that i took of the event.. o warning though, this set is not quite safe for work.. view them at your own risk.. :p
