which one??
waaah! my tamron lens already has a problem. i am planning to have it repaired but the thing is, i have to go to hong kong just to do that.
there are no service centers on tamron here in the philippines. i wish they would open one soon! but anyway, my lens is still usable, it's a 28-75mm f/ 2.8 by the way. i've been using it for over a year now. and now it has problem. my camera hangs (err99) everytime i zoomed/ shoot at 70mm and above. i can still use it at around 60mm to 24mm but still, sometimes it gets annoying for me to reset my camera every now and then when i forget about not zooming til 70mm.
so the next time i go to HK, i wish to have it fixed. hmm but right now, i'm considering of buying a new lens. thinking of buying prime instead of zoom lenses.
here are 2 lenses i'm considering. actually there are 3, but i guess the 85mm f/1.8 is out of the question since it won't provide you with rooms to shoot in most of the scenarios. and i want to get myself an UWA lens too! so i'm kinda out of the budget.
so i'm choosing either the canon ef-s 60mm f/2.8 macro or, canon ef 50mm f/1.4. both are superb lenses. they, of course, have their pros and cons over one another. but i'm a bit confused. i shoot figures and toys, so i guess the 60mm is going to be useful. but the downside of it is that it's ef-s. not that im going to buy a full fram cam soon, but i'm thinking of buying a lens for longer terms. since they are canon and both are great lenses. on the other hand, based on the reveiws i've read, 60mm has greater advantages. i mean, in terms of picture quality and all. haaay.. or should i just buy the UWA first? waaah! still planning to buy studio lights.. *sigh*.

anyway. i won't be buying them very soon, well not that soon but they are already in my wish list. haaay.. can anybody please buy me a new lens??
can anybody help me decide on this? thank you! would really appreciate it!
